REMOLE TOSCANA 2013

Yesterday, i was looking for a classic italian wine in supermarket and then i saw Remole Toscana 2013 on the shelf.

The producer of this wine is Frescobaldi from Italy. This Florentine family have a passion for wine for thirty generations, 700 years.

They are located in some of the most highly praised and famous areas of Tuscany. Chiant Rufina, Montalcino, Pomino, Colli Fiorentini and Maremma Toscana.

I tried this Italian with cheedar cheese in my home.

It was 12% alcohol by volume and as a variety, included 85% Sangiovese and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.

It had a purple-red color. It was bright and intense.

I got the fruity notes of raspberry and blackberry and it followed by spicy hints of black pepper and anise.

I think that, Remole Toscana 2013 was an elegant wine with lovely fullness and long persistence. So surely i will try their other wines as soon as possible.

SILVER BOOM BLACK LABEL CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Last week, i was in North Cyprus for a small holiday. I have a friend there who is importing alcoholic beverages and wines. When we were talking about the wines, he suggested me to try this wine and gave me this bottle. Before tasting that wine, i did a small search on South African Wines.

Silverboom Black Label belongs to the wine region Stellenbosch in South Africa. Stellenbosch bears the same name as the largest city in the district, and have historically been the breeding ground for some of the very best wines in South Africa.

The area is beautifully situated between the coastal mountain ridges, and enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate that is ideal for growing grapes of exceptional quality.

The wine that i was tasted was a Cabernet Sauvignon.

It was intense deep red in the glass with dark almost black dash. I smelled greeted with a wealth of red and black berries like blackberries, strawberries and blueberries. In the mouth it was rich and concentrated with a classic Cabernet Sauvignon character.
It was dominant and complemented by the fine oak tones and a slightly spicy touch.

I think, Silver Boom Black Label is an ideal companion to grilled meat, veal, lamb and a variety of cheeses.

Aurvin Reserve - WINE COUNTRY MOLDOVA 1

I am working with Moldovan wineries since 2011 so i want to share some of my experiences about moldovan wines.
First of all, Moldova is situated in the South East of Europe. It has a fragmented relief, with low hills, sunny plateaus and plains, crossed by a lot of streams which flow into the two big rivers, Prut and Dniester. Moldova's climate is moderately-continental with influences from the Black Sea. And
it is located at 46-47˚ latitude, just like other famous wine regions in Europe.
Today i want to share my experience with "Aurvin Reserve" by Dionis Club.

"Aurvin Reserve" is an aged wine, produced from the grapes of Pinot Noir variety grown in the Southern region of Moldova. The wine of red, velvety colour with aroma of forest berries and tones of melted wax. I tried this wine with matured cheddar cheese.
it was a great experience to feel this wine.
